Episode 14 - It's the start of the long weekend here in sunny Melbourne, so join Rob and Mark as they load up the Land Cruiser and take a Safari around the Wilderness Years (a.k.a it wasn't on telly for 16 years apart from a blip). For a period when the show wasn't on the air there is a surprisingly large amount to chat about. All this plus Danny the Pink, Rob defends the Restoration Team and listen to Mark do his best 60's style Cyberman impression (fear for your job Nick Briggs!)

...and I moved onto other things. And that was that, until 1 day in 2005 my girlfriend (now my wife) said ”Oh Dr Who is coming back tonight, do you want to watch it?” I was amazed as I hadn’t heard a thing. So I said ”sure”! And I loved it. After watching a couple of series I decided to try old Who, starting with The Five Doctors DVD & the rest, along with free shelf space, is history!!

That was a really interesting episode, hearing about those wilderness years. I must say once the show went off air I didn’t go back. Oh there was the newly colourised repeat in the nineties of The Dæmons which I watched & absolutely loved! It was the first Pertwee I saw (barring The Five Doctors!). When Dimensions In Time came back I kept all the news clippings I came across! Same for when The TV Movie came back. I enjoyed both productions (yes even D.I.T!!) but they slowly faded away... (Cont)
